Saturday, June 22 12:30-1PM – Larry Rinek will give a talk about Aircraft Accidents, Aircraft Defects: Engineering Lesson’s Learned The talks will take place in our Club House Our Flying Pig” play and rest area has recently been refurbished . It features a climbing dome, a kid safe aircraft cabin, slides and swings, playhouses and picnic tables. The Wings of History Air Museum has recently received a donation from the estate of Naval Commander Robert Aumack The donation included many models some of which will be for sale in the gift shop . These models are desk models, some of which are new in the box models, as well as recognition models, but all in very good condition that any serious collector would love to have. The models cover the period of late 1940’s to 1970’s. We invite you to visit our gift shop to check these out before they are sold out. Remember members get 10% off sales. New Aircraft on Display – Kittyhawk Heaviside H2 and a Hiller UH-12E4 Helicopter . The Kittyhawk is the first eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) aircraft at our museum, and the Hiller is our first helicopter. Docents Needed! – Let us know if you are interested in becoming a docent and taking visitors on tours of the museum. We will provide all needed training. If you are interested please complete our volunteer form and check the docent box.
